We are Pixelsonic, developers of the Virtual Reality game ASTROROXX, published for Meta Quest devices.

We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the EU GDPR, CCPA, and Meta’s Developer Data Use Policy (DDUP).
2. What Data We Collect and Why
We only collect and process the minimum amount of data required to operate Astroroxx.
2.1 Meta Horizon Platform Data
When you play ASTROROXX on Meta Quest, the game accesses limited Meta Horizon Platform user data strictly as required to operate the game.
The following data may be accessed via the Meta Horizon API:
- Meta USER_ID
- Meta USER_PROFILE (username and avatar)
This data is used solely for:
- Identifying the currently logged-in Meta user during gameplay
- Displaying the player’s username and avatar in the game interface
- Displaying leaderboard entries within Meta-hosted features
ASTROROXX does not store Meta USER_ID or USER_PROFILE on external servers. All Meta account data remains within the Meta Horizon Platform infrastructure. The game does not access microphone, camera, facial tracking, or hand tracking data.
2.2 Highscore Board
ASTROROXX uses Meta Horizon Platform leaderboard features.
When a player completes a game session, their score and Meta username may be submitted to Meta’s leaderboard system.
Leaderboard data is processed and stored exclusively by Meta Horizon Platform.
ASTROROXX does not operate, maintain, or store leaderboard data on external servers.
2.3 Crash Logs and Analytics (if enabled)
We may receive anonymous analytics or crash reports from Meta or Unity, used solely to identify technical issues and improve game performance.
These reports do not include any personally identifiable information (PII).
3. Cookies and Website Data
Our website astroroxx.com may use cookies for functionality (e.g. login persistence, comment forms).
- These cookies do not track you across other websites.
- We do not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers.
You can delete cookies anytime in your browser settings.
4. Data Sharing
We do not share, sell, or rent any user data.
We may use service providers (e.g., hosting services) who process data only on our behalf and under strict data protection agreements (as required by Meta DDUP §5).
We only share data:
- When you explicitly consent (e.g., posting a public highscore).
- When required by law.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
ASTROROXX does not store personal data on external servers.
Leaderboard data (including username and score) is processed and retained exclusively by Meta Horizon Platform in accordance with Meta’s data retention policies.
ASTROROXX does not maintain an external database of Meta account identifiers.
Users may request deletion of their Meta account data directly through Meta’s account management tools.

6. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures (encryption, access control, secure servers) to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
If a data incident occurs, we will promptly notify affected users and Meta, as required by DDUP §6.4.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Request access to or deletion of your data,
- Correct inaccurate information,
- Withdraw consent at any time.

8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to comply with new regulations or Meta requirements.
Updates will be posted on https://www.astroroxx.com/privacy-policy with a new “Effective Date.”
